The Global Tropics Future Young Scholars program is an exciting partnership between the Department of Education and Training and James Cook University, hosted and led by Thuringowa State High School.

Through this innovative collaboration the Global Tropics Future Young Scholars  program will deliver enhanced education opportunities in the areas of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) for students in Years 5 to 9 across North Queensland.

Through Global Tropics Future Young Scholars like-minded students can connect and collaboratively explore their interest and passion for STEM through new blends of face to face and virtual learning.
